INTERLOCHEN, Mich. — Police responded to reports of a break-in and significant property damage at the Catholic Federal Credit Union early Saturday morning after a suspected robbery attempt at an ATM left the machine and surrounding structure badly damaged.
Officials received the initial dispatch call at 2:12 a.m. on January 10, when an alarm alerted local law enforcement to a possible forced entry at the credit union, located just off US-31 near the center of Interlochen.
